The Protestant Church in Egypt, headed by Rev. Dr. Reverend Andrea Zaki, President of Protestant Church, celebrated the glorious Easter without the people's presence.
Unlike the usual presence in such celebrations every year, the Protestant Church in Heliopolis looked almost empty, apart from a limited number of church leaders who attended.
The Rev. Andrea Zaki delivered a speech during the ceremony, through which he thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for the decisions that spared Egypt the dangers of the Coronavirus. He also praised the Egyptian government's concern of this crisis was unprecedented in order to preserve the lives of citizens.
"Zaki" thanked all State leaders and members of parliament for their congratulations on the glorious Easter and also thanked the leaders of the Protestant Church for their commitment and the members of the sect to the banning decisions in the context of confronting the Coronavirus.
The celebration that the Protestant Church witnessed in Heliopolis included a spiritual speech by the priest Youssef Samir, as well as a biblical reading by the priest Nasser Katkut, the official of the Apostolic Church, in addition to presenting spiritual hymns by Maestro Nair Nagy and the Better Life team.
