In the context of following up the requests for weddings from all Evangelical Denominations, Presidency of Protestant Churches in Egypt stated:
"In compliance with the caveats and instructions issued by the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization, holding weddings in homes is temporarily allowed, provided that the attendance does not exceed a limited number of the two families' members only, in addition to the pastor of the church, to preserve lives."
A meeting will be held next Wednesday morning, via electronic means of communication, for the General Evangelical Council and Heads of other Evangelical Denominations in Egypt. It will be headed by Rev. Dr. Andrea Zaki, President of Protestant Churches in Egypt, to discuss various issues in light of the repercussions of the Covid-19 epidemic.
