The Dutch Ambassador to the President of the Protestant Churches: We are proud of the national role of the Protestant Churches and the Coptic Evangelical Organization in serving the Egyptians
Rev. Dr. Andrea Zaki, the President of the Protestant Churches in Egypt and President of the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services "CEOSS", received today, Tuesday, His Excellency the Ambassador Han Maurits, The Ambassador of the Netherlands in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The President of Protestant Churches gave a presentation on the activities of the Protestant Churches during the past time, and the leaders of the Coptic Evangelical organization for social services (CEOSS) also with different sectors gave a presentation for the activities of the organization in its various units as well as for its participation in the Egyptian presidential initiatives in various governorates.
In his speech, the President of the Protestant Churches declared that: "The Egyptian state plays a historic role in supporting the culture of citizenship, freedom of worship, and its comprehensive vision of human rights. The Egyptian state, in the era of political leadership, is witnessing steady steps towards consolidating the values of the modern civil state."
For his part, the Dutch ambassador praised the activity of the Protestant Churches and the Coptic evangelical organization in the Egyptian society, and stressed on his great pride in their national and developmental role in serving the Egyptians without discrimination.
