From Sharabeya Church, the President of the Protestant Churches:
"We need to realize our spiritual solidity in our life with God.
The worst defeats come from within.

Rev. Dr. Andrea Zaki, President of the Protestant Churches in Egypt, participated today, Friday, in the celebration of the inauguration of Rev. Samuel Adel as pastor of the Protestant Church in Sharabeya. The event took place in the presence of Rev. Kamal Rushdi, Head of Synod of the Nile, Rev. Fathy, Secretary-General of the Synod of the Nile, and Reverend Soliman Sadiq, Honorable pastor of the Protestant Church in Faggala, Reverend Rifaat Fikry, Head of the Cairo Churches, Reverend Samuel Zaki, Vice Head of the Synod of the Nile, Rev. Sameh Lotfy, Head of the Pastoral Work and Preaching Committee, Rev. Nadi Labib, Pastor of the Protestant Church in Mokattam, and Reverend Ayman Sami, Pastor of the Protestant Church in Ismailia, Reverend Nassim Fadl, pastor of the Protestant Church in Maadi, Reverend Bassem Adly, pastor of the First Protestant Church in Assiut, Sheikh Essam Wassef, Head of Senate Affairs at Synod of the Nile, Rev. Peter Adel, Development Pastor in the Coptic Evangelical Organization, and Elder Sami Fawzy, Elder of the Protestant Church in Sharabeya.
From the United States of America, Reverend Fakhri Yacoub, pastor of the Protestant Church in Richmond, and Reverend Laure Jaworsky, head of the Missions Committee of the Eastern Synod of the United States, participated in the celebration program.
Many of the religious, popular, and executive leaders also participated today, Mr. Omar Watani, a member of the House of Representatives, and from the Ministry of the Interior, Major General Ihab Al-Shobakshi, Deputy District, Colonel Abdel Hamid Fikri, Sheriff's Department of Al-Sharabia, Colonel Ahmed Qadri, Chief of Investigation, and Father Youssef Najib, The priest of the Church of St. Barbara El Sharabeya on behalf of Bishop Martiros, Sheikh Muhammad Mukhtar on behalf of Al-Azhar, and the engineer Khairy Ahmed Morsi, head of the Sharabeya neighborhood.
During the celebration speech, the President of the Protestant Churches said, "I am very proud to be with you today in the Sharabiah Church, which has a great history of dedicated ministry. I also congratulate Reverend Samuel Adel and the dear people of the church on his inauguration as the church's pastor." The President of the Protestant Churches added: "In our lives with God, we need spiritual firmness to face the fall. The most serious defeats come from within, and sin always has a price to pay. We pray to God to realize our spiritual solidity."
