Rev. Dr. Andrea Zaki, President of the Protestant Churches in Egypt and President of the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services:
Eight years of hard work and genuine belief in rooting the values of citizenship and achieving a society of justice and development have passed.

We thank His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for all his serious and sincere efforts in serving the country and working to build the modern Egyptian civil state system. On top comes the realization of the Egyptian citizenship state, which reflects the true belief in the value of the other and the value of coexistence.
We also thank the president for his permanent effort to construct houses of worship and prayer, including legalizing the churches' conditions, allocating lands for building churches in new cities, and rebuilding and renovating all damaged churches.
Also, we will not forget that in the era of President Sisi, the Evangelical Endowment Authority was established for the first time in the history of the Egyptian Evangelical Church to emphasize the consolidation of the principle of equality among all Egyptians.
After eight years, we can see leadership and a state that seeks to implement the basics of the justice and development community through the national initiatives launched by the president. These initiatives came out of a direct humanitarian responsibility toward improving the living conditions and daily life of Egyptian citizens in all parts of our country. These initiatives aim to honor the Egyptian and preserve his dignity and right to a decent living.
Today, we renew our pledge and trust in the political leadership for more significant steps to be taken by the Egyptian state to achieve a bright future for our country and to overcome all challenges together with one Egyptian hand, mind, and heart.
