Today, Thursday, Rev. Dr. Andrea Zaki, President of the Protestant Churches in Egypt, accompanied by a high-ranking delegation of the Evangelical Churches' leaders, congratulated Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar Gomaa, Minister of Endowment (Awqaf,) on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of June, and the approaching Al-Adha Feast, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Awqaf.
During the visit, the President of the Protestant Churches in Egypt said, "On the ninth anniversary of the June 30 Revolution and the approaching al-Adha Feast, we are all celebrating days of joy and goodness in our dear Egypt.
We thank God for the Egyptians' great awareness, solidarity, and insistence on preserving their great Egyptian identity. We remember the faithful national role of the loyal armed forces, which contributed to changing the history of Egypt and its present. We are happy today to visit His Eminence Dr. Mokhtar Gomaa. And we extend our sincere congratulations on the approaching of the blessed Al-Adha Feast. We also congratulate all Egyptians and pray for our country's progress and prosperity and the world's peace and tranquility."
