The President of the Protestant Churches receives a delegation from the Middle East Council of Churches
and during his reception, to the Middle East delegation of "Churches" says the Protestants President: Unity of Churches Promotes Christian Faith
Rev. Dr. Andrea Zaki, President of the Protestant Churches in Egypt and President of the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services, received this morning, Friday, Dr. Soraya Bechlani, Secretary General of the Council of Churches of the Middle East, at the headquarters of the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services CEOSS and its delegation, Professor Gerges Saleh, Honorary Secretary-General of the Council, Father Gabriel Hashem, Director of the Department of Theological Affairs and Ecumenical Relations of the Council of Churches of the Middle East, Rev. Rifaat Fikri, Co-Secretary-General of the Council of Churches of the Middle East, and Ogit Salameh, Director of Communication and Public Relations of the Council of Churches of the Middle East.
The President of The Protestant Churches said during the meeting: "We always seek unity among churches, which means a lot to us in strengthening the Christian faith and serving the people of the Church in Egypt, and we always aim to work to build and promote the spirit of coexistence in peace and love of the word and deed, as stated in the Gospel and the words of Jesus Christ for his glory."
The meeting was attended by Rev. Rifaat Fathi, Secretary-General of the Evangelical Nile Synod, and Mrs Samira Luke, Director of the Intercultural dialogue unit in CEOSS.
