Today, Monday, Rev. Dr. Andrea Zaki, President of the Protestant Churches in Egypt, participated in the inauguration ceremony of Rev. Maged Wadie as pastor of the Protestant Church in Senoras in Fayoum Governorate. This event took place in the presence of Pastor Nadi Labib, former Head of Synod of the Nile, Professor Emad Saad Hammouda, Member of Parliament, Engineer Mahmoud Hashem, head of the city council, and Reverend Najah Karim, head of the Central Regions Assemblies, and several religious and popular leaders in the governorate.
The President of the Protestant Churches presented the ceremony's speech entitled "Who is my neighbor " and said: "My neighbor is he who showed mercy on me, who responds to evil with good, who overlooks evil and overcome it with good because evil generates evil, and fear sows fear, while goodness sows good, and forgiveness has no limits because it expresses love. Forgiveness is the deep concept of confronting evil with good."
In his speech, the President of the Protestant Churches added: "I am delighted to be with you today and to meet the people of the Senoras Church. I also extend my sincere congratulations to Pastor Maged Wadea, his family, and the people of the church on his appointment as a pastor of the Protestant Church of Senoras."
The ceremony was attended by Pastor Khalil Ibrahim, Head of the Board of the Protestant Church in Senoras Fayoum, Reverend Samir Younan, Pastor of the Protestant Church in Fayoum, Reverend Wael Ramses, Secretary of the Central Assembly of Synod, Elder Essam Wassef, President of the Senate Affairs of the Synod of the Nile, and Elder Michael Ayad, the elder of the Protestant Church in Senoras.
